CBD Essential Oil Massage Oil Recipe for Combating Stress


This massage oil recipe combines the some of the best essential oils for relieving stress and uplifting your mood.  Most massage oils concentrate on reducing stress, which is great, but boosting your mood will also help to reduce stress and also helps you handle stress better.  When we are in the  best of moods, it seems like nothing can phase us short of tragic news.  You mood has a direct impact on how you handle stress and therefore should be considered when choosing a massage oil.  A recent study showed how massages can help improve your health by relieving stress.  This recipe takes that idea a step further has several essential oils for stress AND improving your mood, so when work or home life has got you down, use this DIY massage oil recipe to get to maintain your metal and physical health.

For this massage oil recipe, you will need:

  •  5 drops of Bergamot Essential Oil
  • 4 drops of Sweet Orange Essential Oil
  • 4 drops of Lavender Essential Oil
  • 3 drops of Lemongrass Essential Oil
  • 7 tbsp of Sweet Almond, Avocado or Grape Seed Oil
  • Small Bottle
  • Small bowl (No Plastic)


  1. Drop and mix the essential oils in a small bowl.
  2. Dilute the essential oil blend by adding the carrier oil you choose.
  3. Massage onto chest or shoulders for comforting and penetrating warmth.

*Due to the use of citrus based essentials oils, areas of the skin in contact with this oil may experience some sensitivity to sunlight.  To avoid any sensitivity, we recommend using this oil on areas that will not exposed to sunlight, such as the chest and shoulders.
