Peppermint is widely used for its medicinal and therapeutic properties.  Peppermint has well-known cooling and soothing effects due to its high levels of menthol.   Peppermint oil is often used in diffusers, candles, creams, balms, massage oils and lotions to promote soothe aches and pains.

There is absolutely no THC in our CBD essential oil.  THC, the main compound found in cannabis that has psychoactive effects has been completely removed from the isolate we use in this product.  CBD has no psychoactive effects which is what makes its use as medicine so appealing.

Peppermint oil has a flash point of 151° F (66.1° C).

Mentha x piperita (Peppermint) is GRAS certified by the FDA in historic/commonly used amounts; very low amounts, such as a few drops.  The infused CBD isolate is also safe to eat or drink.  For recipes, check our blog.

Our Peppermint CBD Essential Oil comes from Mentha piperita, the traditional peppermint plant.  It comes from the mint family Lamiaceae and is native to the temperate regions of Europe and western and central Asia, east to the Himalaya and eastern Siberia, and North America.  Mentha piperita has an warm, sweet, minty aroma and versatile therapeutic abilities.  Our oil is steam distilled from leaves and flower tops to provide the highest purity and the highest therapeutic potential.

Pure concentrated essential oils can irritate skin and nostrils.  Even ones deemed safe for direct skin contact can cause allergic reactions for those with sensitive skin.  It is always recommended to conduct a skin patch test for any allergic reactions even when the essential oil is recognized as safe for direct skin use. You can check your reaction to new oils by mixing 3 to 5 drops of essential oil with 1 ounce of your favorite carrier oil. Apply the mixture to the skin of your forearm and cover with a band-aid or gauze to prevent spreading. If there is no reaction within 24 to 48 hours, the essential oil should be safe to use.
